I was at a loss today.. wandering around aimlessly, without much inspiration. Then Breeanna came out of the house dialing the phone, and I noticed her dirty, grubby hands, and I went.. *EUREKA!!!*

Conversion Method:

This is actually mostly converted to B&W using RawShooter Essentials tools. Desaturated fully, adjusted shadow and highlight contrasts, used Color Temperature for additional color and contrast, adjusted exposure slightly, adjusted Tint for taste.

Additional Processing:
Not a lot, some sharpening, a small S-curve curves adjustment, +2 yellow / -2 Cyan adjustment in Selective Color for tone, and a small levels adjustment .

Additional Information:
I decided to use one of my 5 lenses for 6 days each to cover the 30 days. Due to a random draw, the first lens I'll be using is my 18-55mm kit lens. Other than that for this shot, only the lens and camera were used.

Nice range of tones to this, I like how the gradual movement of soft to sharp takes us into the center of the composition.

OK love the concept and the composition. Maybe a slightly larger dof (the panasonic is slightly blurred and no problem but the writing above the earpiece is v blurred and because of its lightness is quite distracting)

Whites a tad blown out on the keypad, but please understand there is a lot more right with this picture than wrong with it. Bottom line...do I wish I had taken one as good as this? Answer, Yes!!

Great job, I really like the look of her hands. Just the angle of her hands and phone do so much for this photo. Nice processing.

A good image for turning into black and white, as it adds more impact to the photo.....

Nice I like how the hards and buttons are brighter, it emphasizes them more.
