This is a rally interesting shot. I think the eyes make the total connection here. The contrasts between the darker and lighter skins is really interesting and creepy. This image has an 'older' type feel to it, and no offence... but made me think of a kidnapper showing off for the parents.. 'Here's your Brat.. now Pay Up!' L()L |

So is this your little guy that's in a lot of your pics? He is so cute! Both of you have eyes that just reach out and grab the viewers attention. I like the contrast here where his face is so soft, and yours is ah, seasoned! :D |

I really like portraits done this way (completely black background). It really focus' the eyes on the subjects. I know this was a quick snapshot (very nice editing for a snapshot), but a general note, it kind of looks like you have a floating head compared to the nice textures of Reily's jacket/sweatshirt. |

This is a wonderful B&W father & child portrait with excellent tones/contrasts. I'm not too keen on the soft blur on the outer edges...especially the blur on your hand. It looks a bit odd when juxtapositioned with the sharp level of detail in the faces. |

Nice tones here. I think you've got one of the coolest faces to photograph on DPC, and I'm glad we get to see it so often :-) |

Wonderful portrait. So very sweet, and what a capture. I love the contrast of the mans skin and the childs skin. Both are beautiful in their own way. |

Has a classic feel to it. I can't really put it into words, but it's very striking and really draws you in and makes you stay a while. Very nice!!! |

I like the picture but for some reason when I look at the eyes it gives me the creeps. They stick out so much from the rest of the picture. I tried it out and the eyes follow you. |

That's because he really wants to roflhao instead. Nice shot. It's good to capture them how they are at the time. Come the day and he'll just paste on a fake smile and you'll wish for the good old days of natural kid stuff.
Great shot for the family album. |

Very sweet indeed. The innocent wonder of a child and the pride of the father. Beautiful capture! |

Awwww. . .what a beautiful, touching portrait! It is timeless and will never grow or look outdated. I love the way your processing gives such character and texture to the "old" guy :)

I keep looking at it to see if the heads have been switched or something!!
Sorry Ken, but that's the brush you're photoshopped with!
but, having said all that, it's a great portrait.
who actually took the picture? |

I think the soft glow/softness really adds to the picture. As does the childs expression. |

great b&w portrait and excellent contrasts ... love the eyes .. all four of them!! .. i also like the way that the background is so dark and how your shirt fades off into it .. the child's expression is priceless and love how he's so focused on the camera ... the guy on the left looks wicked ..:) |

Why, I say, must you ruin a great cute kid portrait, by posing him with a gorilla toy? ;D
Nice conversion, great tonage.. but I can't say I really like the strong blurring of the edges. It kind of ends too abruptly in places, and is out of place around your hand. |
