The bad luck horse shoe upside down makes the human connection for me in this image. Somehow it seems as if it should have a US Forestry logo on the door. They used a lot of these in the 50's, as there were a lot of surplus ones around after the Korean war. They also made good swamp buggies if you cut the heavy body off and built a light one.
You photographed this one well. The tree behind it helps to give it the rugged outdoor setting that it deserves.

These subjects are so great for b&w - but not crazy about the vignette obscuring the detail on the right side of the image.

I love vintage trucks, and you really did this one justice! Love the vignette on the right, though I might extend around the image. One other minor suggestion would be to burn between the letters on "Dodge" to make them pop.

Great old truck photo. When I see these I always think of my grandparents photo's. Nice job.

The first thing that tickled my funny bone here was the tire that is either extremely flat or buried. And it made me smile and think of my dad and his collection of old vehicles.

I like the shadows behind the truck, as if it's moved forward some. Very nice feel.

Wow - looks like it's on a movie set - very surreal in the processing.

nice touch with the lighting effects. you should play around with the curves adjustment (in colour before converting) use the eye droplet tools (black, white, grey) to get an interesting flavour before you convert.. Nothing wrong with this shot at all, just offering another route for converting
