Was there any softening done on the background? It almost looks like heat distortion. It looks very natural (may be natural) and works very well!! Nice action shot. |

So did he get the goal/shot? It's like he just got hit, but wants to know if it was all in vain or not. Love it! Nice job. |

Great capture with the ball in the frame. Just my opinion, of course, but I would prefer either a tighter crop on the player on the ground or a looser crop that included the heads of the players in the background. |

Really fantastic image, great moment capturing the ball in mid air, outstanding sharpness and conversion. Really very good.

It's certainly not boring! You captured a great moment: ball in mid-air. I love these sports stop-action photos! Your contrast and focus is absolutely perfect! For such motion. That is amazing. Sports Illustrated "stuff" :)
