it's not boring. it's very pretty. i like the details and lines. the light and shadows on the center piece really make the item stand out in the pic. |

this so not boring ... it's very intersting actually .. at first i thought it must be made out'v concrete or something .. it works to well in b&w and has a very unusual and different quality .. love it !!:) |

this looks fantastic. from the thumbnail i thought this was a part of a statue. the texture is amazing in this feels like stone. great job in b&w conversion and processing. |

This plant looks like a survivor of a fire - I love that! |

I like it as well. The tones make it seem almost like a wood carving out of some roots. Very nice. |

Wow - I really love the textures here. This is quite well done. Has almost a concurrent silky and rough feel to it. |

OK, well for me this a pic of two elements
Technically super, love the dof, the contrast and tones
In terms of being appealing as an image in its own right perhaps less good.

One of my favorite plants and done really well here.....
I would have cropped it quite a lot more, around the edges to enhanse the centre section re the new growth..

"UrfaTheGreat"....i've always loved that name.
If i had kids, i think that's what I would call them.
And your picture is very good also.
Although i keep seeing an animals face in the middle.
very disturbing.
the range of grays you have here are perfect. |

Dodge and Burn is something that should be taken slowly so at first use the brushes on about 10-15% power in shaddow mode and gently does it.. otherwise it is very easy to overcook it. your first effort here is very good however, way better than my first attempt. |

Nicely done Urfa. Looks like something from a dark wedding. |
