did you do any out of the ordinary PP on this, or is it basically straight from the camera? I only ask because the varied size of the wire spacing has me entranced. |

Pretty cool abstract. The larger voids between the wires along the perimeter of the shot create a very subtle and pleasing vignette effect. |

Usually having such a busy shot can be a problem, but what I like about b&w is that you can just make it a study of textures and be ok - the chaos works here, and you've got enough range of tone to bring out the textures very well. This would very likely be a visual mess if it were in color. |

Very well said :) I sure can't think of a better description than "hay-ey stuff". We may not have had a clue what you were talking about if it had a real, technical name.
I really like the photo too! It's different, and I can see a reeeeal light opacity of this making a cool texture layer on another photo too.

This is sort of chaotic, so it appeals to that side of me. There isn't a clearly defined subject to speak of, and I find myself wanting to pick a point to look at but not being able to. Interesting. |
