Taken in Baja Mexico by a little roadside shrine.

Upped contrast / played with curves, levels, selective color, added small degree of USM. Did minor dodging and burning on building and clouds.

Great title. Love the pitch black window for some reason. Nicely processed and not overly so.

Good textures! Also a terrific use of the tonal range. I like it, though I would like it more with a person in the pic (that's just me though). :) Terrific capture.

i love the textures and tones on this image. The perspective is really well set up - with just enough shadow to allow us to still see the bricks. The sagebrush in the lower left and the tilted Cross just add to the bleakness of this image. Looks like something right out of a 40-50s western.

What an interesting setting! Very nice sky and the perspective really plays on how small the building is.

This is an interesting subject - good range of contrast and tones. Might be an interesting perspective to re-shoot with a very wide angle lens.

wow .. unusual and different ... excellent contrasts and love the different things going on .. the cross totally makes this image for me .. :) .. altho without it, with that awesome sky and that brickwork/window/thing on the side of the wall ... its still a great photograph .. :)

The slanted cross against the dramatic sky is the really interesting part of this photo. Good clarity and tones.

Nice B/W. Two tipis and a cross. I'm not sure I like it divided like that right down the middle (half sky, half building), but it is a very interesting subject.

Nice detail, nice sky, looks a bit too centered for me

This is a great travel photo, I like it very much, but might have cropped almost the top 1/2 of the sky.

I like the idea of this, but I think the straight-on angle of this is a little strange. I'd like to see it shot a little, but not much, from below, to shoot above the grass and play up the drama in the sky.

very good b&w conversion, the tones look great. the clouds give a dramatic touch to this picture and the textures are very strong.

This is so strong as a black and white photo. I love that sky and the pretty white clouds. I'd love to know the story of this old building.

WOW, great shot! My first thought when I opened this was that it looked like an Ansel Adams shot! Love it!
