This is my best friend Adriana, she was also my model in "Mother and Son", which did very well during voting. Took this while we were on vacation in Napa and she was hangin' out in the jacuzzi tub drinking champagne. Fun times :D

I realize I may have over dodged her eyes, but whatever...I'm just trying to catch up at this point. Did a square crop cuz I didn't know what else to do...she was just essentially a floating head, but I think it worked out okay...

I mostly like this for personal reasons because she's one of those people who almost never smiles in a photo, so I thought it was cute that she did for once (maybe too much champagne??) lol

Hope you all like it :)

Ooooh, I missed this one earlier. Glad you referred to this in the photo of her mom on another day. This one is so interesting and appealing. She just sparkles in all those bubbles. Must be the bubbles she's drinking, huh?

You really did a great job on this!

Love everything about this but it looks like you dodged the eyes? Not worth it in my opinion as it almost always leads to unnatural looking straight lines where there should be a nice circular iris (or whatever its called). other than that, this is a really great shot.

Great composition. Beautiful shot. If that is the same woman from Day 3....tell her to smile more often...it's a great one.

She has a great smile! The floating head bit is a tad disconcerting, but with all the bubbles, it makes sense.

Loveeee it
Her smile, the composition, the simplicity

love just a big less - the white is blouwn up in the bottom left corner, some lack of sharpness

I would realy like to try something like this. May I use you idea please?

Very pretty model, and I like the feeling of floating in the clouds, very dreamy and almost surreal feeling in it. Nice work.

What a great connection between you and the model. You can really see it in the picture how much she trusts you, I think this is really a great shot, a bit blurry, but honestly I think that's ok, too much emphasis on being really tack sharp, sometimes a bit softer is better as in this case.

*Art steps in with a leaf blower* :P

I'm a liking this. Could be edited differently, but better? I dunno. Would be a fun one to play with the original though.

I agree with Artyste.
So this isn't really much of a comment.
Sorry :-)

I like it a lot, but it suffers a little bit from focal point being off. It's focused more towards the back of the head and the bubbles, and unfortunately, has put the face a touch out-of-focus. I can see by your shutter speed that f/2.8 was pretty much needed here, but this is a shot that would have benefitted from an f/4 quite a bit. P&S cameras are a bitch to auto-focus properly at the best of times though.

The composition, playfulness, and conversion are quite nice though. Perhaps a little *too* dark in the hair.
