burned some of the highlights

No sharpening, so the artifacts on the sheep's backs are from a slightly out of focus image and resizing, I think. Taken with my 70-300 at 300 on a monopod.

I really like the tones and textures created by the grass... specifically the clumps of grass at the top left of the photo. :) Neat shot - the sepia tones work well here.

Ahh....baby sheep! I thought they were goats or llamas or something. This is an adorable shot though! I loved the DOF with the blurred background.

Interesting that you used the daguerreotype filter - without having read your details, I thought that this had a sort of oldish look to it, very clear, yet soft. I like the composition. Good work.

Giant Awww... baby animals are always a winner. They look so sweet! I love your treatment and the contrast. It gives the photo some heft and dynamic.
