| This composition has a very strong visual impact with the contre jour silhouette of the cactus. I love the 'silver' glint on the clouds just behind and to the right of the cactus; it gives this photo a little added dramatic punch. My critique is that the composition would have been far better had you composed the shot to include the full body of the cactus with a little portion of the ground plane. Showing the full cactus and the sun looming large behind it would increase the visual appeal and the dramatic effect. |

| Nice looking silhouette and the gradient in the sky is pleasing to look at. To my anal mind, the cactus begs to be tilted slightly to the right. |

| great silloutte, really nice sky as well. I find that the bottom third of the image is the most interesting - I really like the soft horizontal lines created by the clouds, I could almost see a variation of this with a crop just above the first branch on the R. Great job, Jack |

Ohh I hate those cactus... They make me feel like I'm surrounded by ghosts....
But on the photo side. Very nice I like the sillouette effect. |
