yeah... looking at this, you photo is really nice, and the font is an ok choice, but the gradient overlay/overall graphic design leaves a bit to be desired. I think a more subdued type may have complemented the image better.

Doc, Doc, Doc...what were you thinking? LOL That is psychadelic, supercalofragelistic man. I thought it was something you'd expect from KTel. I was going to leave a comment picking on the font and the cheesy layout not knowing it was you. Good thing I didn't.
Your photography is HOT, but your desktop publishing methods...well...I'd better not say. Makes me feel better. We finally found a chink in his armour.
I am writing to site council and asking them to make all future challenges include text...
You are fantastic man...I am in Nairobi laughing my head off...

The photo is pretty amazing. I think the type takes away from teh effect of the stunning iamge. |

DPL's second album did indeed have more cowbell, but nothing could top their cover of Flight of the Bumblebee. Sadly, they were doomed to be one-hit wonders. 9 |

Lovely detail on the hummingbird! Maybe a bit much with all the text, but I like the "cowbell" part. |

Can't go wrong with more cowbell :-) Not sure the psychedilc lettering complements the hummingbird (love the sharpness on his head, though). Still, gotta' give you an extra point for making me smile. |

Somebody watches Saturday Night Live! (I think that's where the "more Cowbell" came from?) Very cool shot and set-up. 9 |

stunning image of the hummingbird - but the text/ font colors really seem too busy and don't seem to fit the colors of the bird |

Hahaha, funniest one yet. Also with a beautiful picture, I can't believe you got the focus right on. They're so hard to capture. Great shot. |

Damn, wish I'd thought of using the cowbell line. Nice shot, but the font-use leaves me with a distinctly non-album feeling. I think the multicolored lettering distracts a bit too much. |

you win the most painful font and font treatment of the challenge!
This is a great photo - I've tried to take these and they are not easy. So I find myself torn between judging the photo (7 in my book) and deducting for the font which is a part of the presentation... |
