| This is gonna sound dumb but this looks like it would make a great Christmas card picture. Love the composition and the details on the cone. |

| Nice composition. It's funny, I was looking at a pinecone today when I picked up my kids from school and thought that would be neat to take a closeup of. Nice work....now I have to think of something else. |

Only a 'real' photographer could use the expression "found this branch on the ground. Brought it home" and not be considered mad
Lovely dof on this shot and - especially compared to yesterday - love the dead space.
Strangely enough I have a bowl of pine cones about 2 feet away from me which I thought might make a decent entry for this challenge...Given that you have done this so well I guess I needn't bother now.
