| Excellent use of contrast here to emphasize the ordinary and force us to look at it, really look at it. Nicely seen and captured. I need to open my eyes when I'm out with my shot, instead of searching for a preconceived shot. |

| This is such a totally awesome shot!!!! I love the way the light shines threw the holes in the metal! You have a very steady hand to have captured this through your window. Fabulous job. |

| beautiful light here. i like the dof and the texture. and two nails in one hole, great eye to catch this composition at a stoplight. awesome job, as usual. |

Ok well I will confess that when I looked at this I thought...Ok thats an unusual shot, nice but maybe not quite up to your normal level. Then I read how you had taken it and I realised
a - what a great job it was in the circumstances
b - what a fantsatic eye you must have if you can pick up something like as an interesting image this whilst doing something else

Only you could pull this off! Well, maybe Deb could too. Taking the ordinary things in life, and shooting them at just the right angle and composition, and then adding your processing magic on them and voila: Art at its best!
Yes -- that beautifully backlit background is what makes this!

| I like this - got a lot of textures going on here, and you managed to get quite a bit of detail in that dark wood post. The foreground weeds poking up on the left balances out the subject on the right. |

Wonderful DOF in this one, as it has some great tones.
The nails are focus and sharp as a tack.....
