took this photograph of emily yesterday who i've known since she was a very small baby ..
it was pretty dark in the room and raining outside .. should'v widened aperture but forgot .. 200mm zoom as well which increases that grainy look .. i cant seem to escape grain .. i've intentionally softened this image with noise ninja ... altho i erased the effect on her eyes ... i've also done a gaussian blur to soften the edges of the frame .. it may not be to everyone's taste ..

Oh what a beautiful image, sometimes having a model look straight at the camera really doesnt work, but here it is fantastic. Love the softer tones and bokeh

I bet Renee loves this

Normally I wouldn't be particularly crazy about the soft/blur sense of it but it suits this shot. I might do a selective color adjustment of neutral and back off of the black. It might illuminate her face a bit. OR do a duplicate layer in screen mode and fade til you get it a bit brighter but not too much so. What a sweet girl.

Love the attention on the eyes. So sweet (and both are my kiddos are thumbsuckers, darnit, but I do think it's super cute!).

Jeeez! What a heart stopping photo! I can't help it, but I think babies sucking their thumbs -- or even pacifiers -- are so adorable. The cute factor goes off the chart for me!

This is so real and so beautiful!
