Love this!! Definitely a far better shot the way it is than if you'd had the ladybug in focus. |

honestly, I think this photograph has more interest than if the ladybug had actually been in the focal point. because the depth of field is so severe, the story is quite easy to follow without a description. it's subtle and implies an idea, instead of being a photograph of a pretty 'thing' that seems to dominate the majority of shots here. I'm adding this to my favourites.

I know this feeling all to well! great picture as it realy speaks to all of us who do battle with primadonna bug models who won't cooperate. |

This is great - I really like these types of images, where the subject is "hinted at", and the grain effect works well here. |

LOL. great concept and pleasing shot.
Doesn't it realise it could have been a star if it had just sat still and faced you ?? Pff . . ladybugs nowadays . . |
