White Sands, yet again :-) Or a critical lesson in why cleaning your mirror is important (I probably cloned more than 100 dead sensor spots from this photo.)

another stunner! I love the little house in the distance. adds to the remoteness. and I love the B&W conversion.

Again a very nice image to look at and study, it looks well balanced and the footprints/tracks really make you look through. Waiting for the winds to cover them over never to be seen again in an ever changing terrain.

Truly nice work

I really love this shot. I am surprised you don't do more high contrast shots, you are so good at them.

Another beautiful composition from white sands love the tonal comparison between the sky and the light and dark sides of the dunes. Wonderful and dream like. great minimalism

Catherine -- I could look at your White Sands photos for the entire 30 days! Please don't stop if you have more! They are each one unique and different looking -- and each one so fabulously beautiful!

This one is amazing!!! I love the higher contrast.

What a great shot, so clean -- now that you've cleaned it up, I guess :) The lines and movement from those lines is wonderful, as are the tones. A scene I would have wanted to shoot but might not have for fear of not being able to capture what I saw; glad you have better vision than I do. And I thought you weren't supposed to clean the low pass filter (that that was a job only for the pros)?

This is awesome - as usual! There is an otherworldly feel to this- probably the oversharpenedness of the sand (it works very well - no complaints) and the softness of the sky. The sharpening really brings out the neat lines in the sand and accentuates the different layers of sand.

I hate sensor dust - man, do i hate sensor dust!
