I love the texture in the sky...its very canvas like...Reminds me very much of an Early American photo. It's timeless.

wow ... this has such feeling ... love your title .. the sky actually looks like its crying with that grain/noise .. the sharp contrast on the corrugated iron roof with everything else so soft is excellent ... great moody shot lisa ..

Love the feel of desperation you've captured (or provided via PP) here. The feel comes thru in fine form. The sky is particularly to my liking.

Lisa, I have to say that virtually every day of this challenge your work has been an absolute joy. I have such respect and admiration at the way you have captured such a wide range of different images and this is no exception. Real 'heavy' and ominous feel with the noise emphasising the dereliction. Good job (yet again)

I love the ominous feel of this photo. The old grungy barn is so photogenic, and the dark setting enhances even more the cool feeling of this photo!

mmm...dark and moody, I like it. A touch heavy on the vignette maybe, especially because it's off balance but otherwise very nice.

really like the picture
looks like it is raining
perhaps waiting for a twister to take it away

Very moody effect, and derelicts are always good subjects for b&w. I like the idea of the vignetting, but for my tastes seems a bit too heavily applied here.

unloved except for the little bush/tree which has found shelter under the eve. vertical lines on corrugated roof & horizontal lines on siding clap board make this a interesting subject. strong vignette frame to left and top is threatening & imposing, contributes additional somber darkness but the heavy quality of it, pulls away emphasis from the building.

love the treatment of this... I know a place like this, hopefully I'll post a shot as good as this in the next week or so
