An old abandonned cottage set back off quite a busy road near where I live and virtually invisible to passers by

I often wonder what caused such a lovely house to fall into such disrepair and why - with UK house prices being the way they are - noone has ever thought to renovate this

Played around in PS again with this one, levels, contrast, brightness etc and saved to web

love the way the house is sort'v emerging from the trees .. great contrasts between the trees and the building .. :)

I had the exact same thoughts running thru my mind the minute I read "abandoned". Jeeez. I'd love to have that house. It is so charming and has so much potential.

Awww this is a perfect building to being B/W for this challenge. Love the tones in this one. Nice capture. I just love old buildings. I can see this one with lots of wildflowers. With some tender loving care it could be a quaint place to live.
