What a wonderful photo! I love the hues and content.

Would have been a nice pic but you use Photoshop's Fill Flash too much. Your subject's face is too ashen-grey. I had the same problem. Instead of Fill Flash, I use Lightness under Color (under Enhance) up to +10. Then I go to Enhance again and use Contrast up 10+ and usually that will do the trick for brightening up your pics. Good luck!

i love how he looks so peaceful and in solitude but in the background it looks so busy. Good focus and lighting as well. karmat

Look at his cute little hair sticking out from under his hat! Nice picture. I like it a lot..it is growing on me.

This is my idea of what a candid image ought ot be... Just close enough... just wide enough... captures the essence of the subject at this isolated moment in time. 7 sjgleah

Very nice candid... The depth of field here is excellent.. It's not too shallow and it makes your subject stand out nicely. This is out of your control, but I wish the man was sitting about one foot further back :) He's a little too close to the center of the frame for my taste, but the barrell framing the right side of the image works very nicely. good shot :) - 7 - jmsetzler

Very good.

Well-shot. I like the unsharpness of the busy background against the sharpness of the oblivious foreground figure.

Good photo.

Great shot! I love the traffic in the background as I feel it actually adds to the photo instead of detracting from it. He seems oblivious as the world is flying by. Colors are great with him standing out from the grays. Very nice, good luck in the challenge.

Interesting juxtaposition of what appears to be busy traffic, and the man in his own little world. I like your composition, and the photo in general. lhall-8

First class shotâ€Â¦ Really love the use of DOF; wish I had thought of using this technique for mine :) (10)

Looks more like he's tallying his receipt to make sure he wasn't jipped in the store. Cropping this vertically would get rid of the barrel.

Very nice! This is definitely one of my favorites so far! My only criticsm is that I would have liked it to be tiled down just slightly.
