Phenomenal catch. However, the pixels ruin the quality. |

Did you take this from a long distance, so that is why it is pixelated? |

I like the message of your picture, but unfortunately, technical wise it's too bad. Sorry for mentioning this. |

It is pixelated, BUT I am so glad you submitted it. This is great. Definitely not somethng you would see everyday. (did the pixelation happen when you cropped it?) Karmat |

Very candid. Seems to have been enlarged a bit too much. Didn't I see this one in one of the forums last weeks. |

What a moment! Terrific job on subject matter and composition. It is just a shame that the quality isn't a little better but that may be due to the limitations of your camera. |

Nice composition... Was this cropped from a much larger shot? It seems like you are pushing the resolution to the limit... |

Hi Heather, I saw this photo on the forums before you decided to post it. That gives me the benefit we don't usually have with dpc of being able to discuss the before and after. I see that you cropped it to highlight the main focus of your photo. IN this case, I think that worked against you, causing or at least intensifying the pixellation of the image. I think I liked it better before anyway because it added to the candid nature of the moment. Your perspective added the photographer as a member of the photo -- by that I mean that the perspective no pronounced your presence that you were forced to consider the photographer in the shot. Which in this case added a sense of "person sitting at a ball game, all of a sudden: DOUBLE TAKE." I won't speak to the contents of the shot; I'm sure you're hearing enough about that. Also, having seen the forum post makes my opinion on the subject matter less objective. sorry for the low score, but the pixellation ruins it for me. 4, just-married |

At last a photo that makes you think a bit. Blow that stereotype away. |

This picture is HORRIBLY pixelated (i know, everyone is telling you this). Even though this contest is for a good candid, we cant through away the 'rules' for a technically good photo and the pixelation ruins it for me. Get closer to a subject rather than cropping and blowing up. |

I wonder if these guys may have been uncomfortable enough in such a public place without having a camera pointed at them. |

This is a good candid :) It looks like it has been resized UP and been pixellated as a result. Resampling rather than resizing can help correct this problem... - jmsetzler |

This really is a great photo. I think blowing maybe wasn't such a great idea since its grainy now. Oh well... still high on my list. -Chariot |
