Very interesting shot. It is a bit on the white side for my personal taste but, like Miami it kind of grows on you a bit. There might be another shot in there with more of a crop on the "blue boat" with only some of the boat stuff colored. Very original though ... Almost makes me want to wear black socks with sandals :)

I love it, well done.

AS you are asking the viewer to see the vertical selective desate view,IMHO a portrait crop would have been stronger as the background draws my eyes from the subject, Also the colored area for this challenge is too large and had only the Life ring, doors, ice box, and wooden gunnel ect. been left colored this I believe would have made a strong image in the landscape profile, because of the intricate selection required to create this photo and the sharpness...7

Oooh, this one is nice!

That's one funky looking boat! Does it really look like that or did you boost the saturation? Just curious.

It looks over sharpened to me.

Wow. This is a really excellent example of how to make a subject stand out from a crowd. The shot is perhaps a little high key for my taste, but it is an excellent shot nonetheless. 9.

Great selection. I'm not sure that it would help or not, but I'd be curious to see what this would look like if only the reflection of the boat was in color, rather than both boat and reflection. Still, well done. 8

b/w conversion could use a boost of contrast ... the boat seems a bit over saturated

Certainly does make the boat stick out!
