The date ruins this shot. You have an adorable child, excellent framing, and wonderful lighting. |

Very nice portrait, although the date on the right and the white band behind her head are distracting. |

Very cute image and+ lighting. The dedicated look on her face to get the cupcake open is great. I do wish you made use of the full 640 pixels though. And I'm sorry, but I do have to comment about the date on the photo. Having your camera print the date on your photo can completely destroy a good photo. It did in the film days too, but it was necessary for those who wanted to keep track of when they took the picture. Now, in the digital age, that and much more is stored in the EXIF infor of 99% of the digital cameras out there, thus eliminating the need to have it ruining the photo. I would definitely recommend removing that option from the camera for the challenge photos, and really for all photos that you take. It's just not worth it to ruin such a good photo with something that you can't remove. You can always add it as a layer in photoshop if you want, but then it can be removed too. Just my .02. |

The date really takes away from it, but it is a nice shot. |

What a cutie! I'm sure you are probably getting dinged for the time stamp and the size. Don't let it get to you. Go ahead and turn off the time stamp on your camera and then keep playing with your pictures to learn to resize them to the full 640 width.
As far as the picture goes, I love that she is so intent on the cupcake. It all appears to be a bit out of focus, which some poeple don't like. Keep trying though, with such a cute model and such a good eye, you will go far. |

Ouch, that time/date stamp really is unfortunate. Sorry. |

Cute shot - nice backlighting, and the background isn't distracting. I think it'd be better if you'd turn off the date feature of your camera. I'm also unclear as to how it pertains to the 'Shapes' topic. |

This is a sweet image - but I don't see a specific shape that you are trying to capture. If it is the cupcake - you should have focused it on the cupcake (and gotten rid of the date stamp!!!!) Sorry, but I have to give this a 3 |

A beautiful photograph ruined by the date. Hopefully you can turn it off so in future moments like these can be unspoilt - LOVELY moment. |
