i see this and i think of a man who has lost his wife.. he holds her wedding ring.. the title and the image force the viewer to compose a story in their head, and thats a wonderful thing for an image to do. techinically this is well done, the editing is beautiful and i can't imagine this being as powerful in full color or full b/w... its a perfect use of desat. hope you get a ribbon. 10

What sets this apart from others is that it is a good photo to begin with and the saturation of the ring just makes it better. Wonderful depth of detail and tone. Nice job.
