A young artiste at work..

I need a second flash to avoid the shadow that is visible under the left arm
I tried using a white card reflector, but this did not eliminate all the shadow.

I like the way the eye of the graffiti image is looking back at the boy. I looked at a monotone image but for me there is more vibrancy in this colour version.

Wow, Ian!!! This is AWESOME! I am so surprised that this isn't way up there on the front page. It's ingeniously creative and interesting!

Nice idea - I think this could have been improved dramatically by a couple of things - First the angle it was taken from - It's very boring taken straight from a standing point. Getting real low and close to the wall with a wide angle could have added some much needed drama to this. Second the direct flash has made this look very flat. No flash would have helped. Also his choice of clothing matches the wall too much - A black and white conversion could have helped. Please don't think this is all negative. I really like the shot but feel it really could have had much more impact on the viewer if just a few changes were made. Like I said - The viewpoint of the photographer could have given it so much more impact if you hadn't shot it straight on.

captivating photo. bump in hood in sweatshirt is distracting and takes away from the image as a whole.

That's quite a piece of artwork there. An interesting image, with good lighting, exposure and color. Now that I'm back for a second look, I think I'll have to bump this up a bit.

Nicely done!

A good idea for the challenge, and a nice bit of artwork. Only nit is that it appears to be finished artwork so the guy spray painting seems just a bit posed.
