First and foremost, apologies to the talented gentleman with this username - I'd originally intended to find a suitable bucket in a suitable situation where the obvious choice was a black and white rendering. Instead, I found this bucket, which really needed to be in color. Still, I offer this as a humble tribute and as thanks for sharing your work.
Post processing - As part of this new team concept, I ended up reshooting this based on feedback, and am quite delighted that the bucket was still there where I found it in the first place. I'm also trying to "do more!" with Photoshop, if for no other reason than to learn how to. Levels, curves, hue/sat, brightness/contrast, selective color, sharpen, resize add borders.
And I will, with honor, bring home the team Brown. :-)
Post Challenge: Seriously, mega-apologies to Bucket. The tribe has spoken and this, apparently, really does suck. Sorry about that. |

Hey deb, funnyily enough I had really liked this picture in the challenge but would never had put it down as one of yours (no reason other than its unlike any of yours I have seen before). Love the vibrancy of the colours and the composition in terms of rule of thirds (both the bucket and the swathe of dayglo pink paint). And just to be perverse....I really like the border, I thought it set the colours off well
