 It's the third straight day of rain here (and snow predicted tonight! GAH!), so I resorted to shooting the cat again. Luckily, she's photogenic and generally tolerant - though judging by her ears here, her patience is starting to wear thin.

Converted in channel mixer, several shadow/highlight passes, curves, dodge and burn. Resized. Two dup layers in normal mode, one aggressively sharpened and the other gaussian blurred, and fills adjusted for the nifty soft/sharp effect. Sharpen tool used around eyes and nose.

Love the high key as well as the softness of the fur around the edges. Awesome job. (SNOW??? AAAAH!)

But the photo: AWWWWWWWWEEESOME! I love how the high key affect makes her look startled. Kinda fierce actually :) Great job.
