Nice picture- I would have liked to see a little more depth of field though

Very good photo. I always love the look of fresh snow, and the black and white look is very good.

I like it, the fence really leads the viewer's eye from bottom to top. The only suggestion I have is to crop out the area above the hill so you only see the ground and the fence. But still, its' nice as is. :)

I think if the camera were lower it would have been better.

I love the concept of this photograph. I would love to have seen the perspective from a bit lower angle, and crop out the dark area at the top, or incorporate more of it into the composition to balance the composition more; as it is, I find it very distracting.

Nice lines here, I think though that I would have liked to have seen more definition in the snow... you might have done this with a different exposure. The contrast is quite blatant. Interesting idea though might have been cute to jazz it up just slightly with maybe a girl in a red coat (just an idea) sitting on the end of the fence, and you can see her footprints, or something like that... just taking it a step farther...

Contrast is very nice. I like how the fence is leading your eyes from the bottom to the top. The curve of the background also does this.

Nice BW. Very good contrasts. Focus seems very sharp. Leading line is very strong. Leads your eye all the way back to the horizon. My only problem is the sloped horizon. Is it a hill? Somehow it being sloped confuses the eye. I see why you left it in, though. Not sure how to help it, if at all. Have you tried rotating it? Perhaps not. My wife disagrees with me. She REALLY thinks the sloped part MAKES the shot. ANyway I like it alot, regardless.

It would be better, if the black back wasn't so , non-horizontal.

I like this a lot.

This may sound stupid, but I think this shot could have been even better if the snow in the black sky would have been partially or totally cloned out. I find it adds an element of "messiness" that takes away from this well composed shot. Maybe a shot of the fence and snow only without the sky?

Good for you, braving the snow to take such a beautiful picture. It looks like this was taken at night due to the background but it is so light. It's a wonderful photo!

I like this shot a lot. I will, however, make two comments: First, cropping out the tree line would have eliminated a distraction. The fence line in and of itself is an interesting subject. Next I would have liked to seen a richer sharper contrast between the fence and the snow. Best of luck

Love it. The horizon appears to be the end of the earth with the natural curve. I think this is just great. Good dof and color balance.
