Great simplicity here, love the ripple circles fading outward. |

Lovely! That eye really stands out. Is this a Greater Scaup? |

After your big speech how there are no bad photos here and people should stop giving disclaimers... and now look at you. :op
This is a wonderful composition. Great minimalism - duck, reflection of duck and slight ripple in the water. Awesome. The frame gives the whole thing a kick and really works well here. (though I think you should have tried the fuzzy frame... haha!) |

Whats wrong with it. Great symmetry, strong contrast and fantastic composition. |

Tee hee. . .Robert you are so funny! And for this: you REALLY don't need to apologize. It is very dreamy and beautiful. The ripples are so perfectly shown around the duck. And that crystal clear reflection: awesome!

I think it's a great photo, I really like the crop and border. Nice reflections and very calm water.
Question: You say there's some light haloing, I don't really notice it on my monitor. I've had some luck sometimes by light burning to get rid of some halo's, and masking when I save the selection and then expand the selection size. Can anyone give some other ways to get rid of halo's, I know my photo's have them.

I see a very calm atmosphere and I like the waves and the reflexion. But "my eye" needs to see the duck's color and why not, a selective desaturation! |
