Driving through Monument Valley with my wife and she wanted to stop at a side of the road jewlery shop. I took this photo in a hurry while she was spending my money. The composition is not exactly the best in a couple of aspects but I still like the photo.

What fantastic focus you have in this!! Even the distant BG is still very clear, I like the composition and extreamely well managed exposure in this shot, it can be very difficult to get everything within workable range!! Great job and wonderful scene!!

Jersey, if you want another tumbleweed...I'll send you one...lol, we have more than enough here in Western Ok, lol!!

I like the tones of this image and the perspective created by the fence. I might have tried to have the background mountain composed in the middle of the open space in the fence rather than having the fence cut it in half, just to frame it. Your focus permits the background to contribute to the image (which I like).

I like the far away look you have managed to capture, re the fence and its perspective, leading one right into the image.....

Very nice. I like that the landscape in the background is still clear enough to know what it is. Great in BW.

Funny that you got a shot of a tumbleweed. It harkens me back many years.
When I was about 14 the family went on vacation ... way before mini vans were born ... 5 in a family-size car was tight. All I wanted for a souvenier was a tumbleweed and yet there was no room for it.
I carried the tumbleweed back from Utah all the way to Michigan on my lap ... they are extremely picky and uncomfortable.
I had the tumbleweed for a good 30 years until it disintigrated. And yet two years ago my DH wouldn't let me get another one!
Your shot brought back some very good memories.

Good job on this image. I like how you've left a bit of the depth of field to show us what the fence is holding in. Nice work.
