Just water from a tap.

I hate DPL... what, oh what, made me want to be in it.

You know, I really feel like I choked at the start of this DPL thing, too - so you're not alone. It reminds me of when I first found DPC last fall & made the vow to enter every week no matter what - except now I feel like I doubled that load, ffs...

Anyway, what would I have done different? I remember distinctly thinking, "Why didn't the shooter try a long exposure on this one?" when I was voting. Which led me to think of doing a parody of the classic waterfall-long-exposure shot, except with dishes, bowls & cups. Hmmmm... nah!

Oh, you can count me out of *that* happy fluffy bunny party, too! ;~> Sorry I didn't add the above comment while voting, but with these 300+, 400+, 600+ entry challenges, its all I can do to just get through them to begin with. This DPL thing is making things rough 'round here, but maybe it is for the better in the end? Darwinism in this small world of DPC?

Good luck!

Shawn

haha.

I did do long-exposure, it's just as bad.

This at least added a *modicum* of interest in the frozen drops.. I personally liked the texture in the metal too, but yah. I was desperate. I haven't shot a single thing I've liked since the DPL began.

I probably won't have *anything* in for week 3 at all.

No.. not an accident. I did hue-shift the colors that were there to make them a bit more pleasing, but I didn't want the image to stay completely monochromatic, so I but a couple of objects to the sides to reflect some color.

wish you'd put a colored background behind the faucet to really make it pop
