Gee Jack you really took a bit of a mauling on this one. However what I would say is that if you look at the 8s 9s and 10's (FOUR!!!!) that you got it echos what I said during my in competition post. Whilst it did not do it for me there are people who have loved this image to score it very well which shows the experiment worked because it is better (IMO) to have got a range of scores which include the very highest ones than simply 4s 5s and 6s

Well, it ended up about where I figured it would. Great shot, wrong venue. What can you do. |

I like it. Quite a bit actually. Wish the roof line was perfectly horizontal, but it's a small quibble on an otherwise fine shot. Will be interesting to see how this places. Hopefully far better than I expect it will. |

Good colors and tone. Not really liking the blurryness of it. But still interesting. |

You're probably getting killed for this in voting, but it has a lovely melancholy feel to it, and the rain-covered windshield (which is what it looks like, whether it is or not is immaterial) creates not only a softness but an anonymity. I like it. |

Frankly, the soft focus and (apparantly) noise reduction artifacts diminish this photo, for me at least. |

Well I assume you did this on purpose since it is done to the whole image, but the effect doesn't work for me. |

Stunning. The effect is wonderful, and the distortions mysterious. Almost looks like a pinhole shot. 10. |

Well, we'll take your word for it that he's a smoker. I'm not sure the voting public will take such blurry effect to heart though, but it does give the effect of rain.

Very interesting perspective. I'm generally critical of blurred images, but you've found a good use for it. Nicely done. |

A very interesting and daring experiment. I'm not sure how the voters in general will receive this, I kinda like it. Kind of a 'dreamy' feel. A good composition. It catches my attention and holds it. Nice job. |

Was the water getting on the camera lens??? Hard for me to see the subject and over all I'm not liking the effect of the picture. |

this is pretty nice. i like how everything almost becomes abstract, and the man becomes almost invisible. but i dont like hes white bag(?) in the front. the woods and rain makes a mood i like. looks issolated. i would have dropped the title , but... |

I will be honest and say I am marking this low (4) because for me personally although I can see some qualities, it doesnt really appeal. However I am sure there are many people that will like this form on experimentation and I guess the only thing that matters is whether you like the shot |
