Great timing with this shot - I like how the branch almost echoes the bird's shape in flight. |

Nice catch. Check that lens though, there seems to be a bit of chromatic abberation. |

It looks like your getting a little achromatic aberrations (purple fringing) with your lens - I get it too especially with long shots. I've noticed if I turn down the magentas it makes it go away mostly. Also, it looks a little over sharpened especially along the branch. It's a nice capture and good timing. Hey wait, I just realized I have a photo with the same name: . Just a different kind of bird! Good luck to ya! |

Wow! You had to be ready for this one! If the sky was a little bluer I think the bird might stand out a little better. Nice work though. |

Nice capture -- we seldom see these in the air. |

I don't know if there is enough sharpness to do a flattering tighter crop on the bird but, the rest of the picture really doesn't add anyting to the shot. |

I don't know if its allowed in the rules but maybe for the future of this pic I would get rid of the tree green on the left, nice pic -8 |

What a shame about the heavy purple fringing - chromatic abberation from your lens, combined with a major crop, perhaps? |
