 One of my favorite shots taken in December. Most of the others are portrait shots of friends and family. Xmas time is PARTY TIME.

We had a huge downfall of snow in December. One storm came close to paralizing the city. Taken one night after coming home from a movie with my wife, only to decide to go back out there to shoot some snow scenes at midnight. People were looking at me like I was nuts. Lots of fun! LOL!

Developped from a RAW file using C1. Slight WB adj to remove some of the colour cast. Also slight EB and C/B adj. This is NOT a greyscaled image that has been duotoned. This is a RGB image.

It was 2:00 AM when I processed this so details are a little fuzzy. It's OK because it's an all edit challenge. YEAH! In PS: levels, slight desaturation, USM, contrast, high gaussian blur then reduced opacity then applied in overlay mode, more USM, very slight crop and border. NO spot editing or D&B in this one.

That's it. That's enough!

I like this photo. I think it might be better if cropped in a vertical fashion in the center. That will eliminate the fence on the left and the home on the right.

beautiful shot - good idea for that pov. I might crop out the building(s) on the right of the frame, they distract my eye a little, but they are no big deal. nice work.

A beautiful, magical looking shot. This would have been great for the after dark challenge too. Good tonal range, and I like the way the light draws the eyes right down the path.
