Experimenting with processing and subject matter. It's probably obvious that this is a departure from my usual style.

Comments and suggestions welcome:)

As requested, here's the story:

I live in an RV/Trailer park. The manager of the park collects junked RVs on the back storage lot.

I went back there to look for something rusty. I found this one and discovered the donut character smiling out from the passenger window.

Smiley was overjoyed when he was adopted by his masters Jim and Harriet at a truck stop gift shop in Wichita. He enjoyed all of their adventures going to Yellowstone, Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, The Great Smokey Mountains, New Orleans, Miami Beach, and he would never forget crossing the Queensboro bridge and seeing the Empire State Building. Then one day, in Micco Florida, Jim, Harriet and Smiley pulled into a place that had lots of homes like his. Jim and Harriet got out and started talking to a man that looked like he owned the place. They were looking at a big, shiny, new home that the guy must have owned. Then a funny thing happened. Jim and the man shook hands, and the man got into Jim, Harriet and Smiley's home and drove to the back of the place with all the homes. Smiley kept waiting for his masters to return. He waited and waited day after day. Of course, donut dolls are eternal optimists. They don't think they are missing a hole in their middle, but that something will be coming soon to complete them. Their future is so bright they've gotta wear shades. Smiley was sure Jim and Harriet were planning the bestest trip of all. Weeks turned into months and then years, and Smiley's home started getting a bit rusty in the back of the lot of homes, but Smiley keeps looking out the window just knowing that one day Jim and Harriet are going to be coming around the corner, smiling at Smiley and jumping back in for the next big trip. He just wishes it would be soon, because he really misses them.

OMG this is funny, awesome find girl and well shot, IMO has a happy and yet sad emotion to it, almost like a puppy waiting patiently by the door for its owner to come home... the story is a great touch also :)

It looks surreal. like a nightmare. why is that freak sucked onto the window, a prisioner, staring out into who knows what, there in front of it, that little smile stuck on it's face. What is there to smile about? It is stuck there in a rotting car. forever.
Sorry, I got carried away. I like it. You should take these departures more often.

Is he looking at himself in the rear view mirror? I'm not a fan of grain, but it seems to work well here with the old and rusted vehicle.

I think it's interesting--the smiley is a nice contrast to the old vehicle, and the grain works well.

That smiley face is a good juxtaposition to the grungy vehicle. I like the effect and the processing.

Hmmm- I believe it's interesting ! I might add that somebody needs a new vehicle...funny- like the grain.
