 After a million attempts at a dramatic shot with this flower and a flowing flashlight pattern, I gave up and shot this ho-hum pic in three takes. A wee bit on the boring and soft side I'm afraid but I like the color tones & the "mood" enough to post it. Here's hopin' I stay out of the 4's!

6 second exposure and "painted" the subject & the backdrop with a flashlight to give it a spotlight sort of feel.

Shot in Raw. Raw conversions. Elements - crop, curves, levels, neat image, USM, cloned out sensor dust, save for web, border.

Oh Aimeee! How BEAUTIFUL! I can't believe you think it's a wee bit boring. Not at ALL!! So clean and delicate. So fresh. stunning work. I can't imagine the flashlight one even being in a league with this one :)

Nice simple Itea and it works well. Not exactly in the spirit of the challenge, but it makes for a refreshing change from the twirling a light stick. Great sharpness and good BG choice. Good Luck
