I really did take this on the 6th. I've been so dang busy this past week, wouldn't you know it? I'm not that happy with the DOF not being focused on the tip, but this was the best I could muster up that day.

LoL...I notice the cloaning is poorly executed in the background as well. My laptop battery was probably not plugged in and my monitor is not that bright when it's not plugged in! Shows me how I need to slow down or either fix this at a later date.

Thanks for the nice comments, and yes I was talkig about the odd cloaning effects on the top lefthand side. I agree the tight crowding of the peeler is unattractive, but due to time constraints I could not shoot it again. Darn it!

I appreciate all comments and NEED to hear constructive criticism. It helps me so much.

Nice image, and the red band really stands out. For me it's a tad too crowded to the right side. As far as cloning, are you talking about the two lighter "clouds" to the left of the vegetable (or what I call potato) peeler?

I love the red handle against the black background and the reflection of the veggie peeler. Excellent composition and beautiful lighting.

I'm not sure where you felt you messed up the cloning -- were you hoping to completely disguise the edge in the back? I guess that would be best, but this is striking as it is. The reflective surface is very cool.

Nice abstract. Love the empty space that is just bearly visable as a serface. Nice spot of red. Very nice.
