Generally, it's best to have someone looking into the frame, but in this case, the crop and person in the background makes this the exception to the rule. Speaking of exceptions, this is a gem - truly an exceptional shot.

| I like his expression and I like the photo. I think it would be a little better if he was on the right side though. The empty space to his right isn't serving any purpose for me. |
