 I went with by boyfriend to hang a business sign up & found this neat little nest of yellow jackets on the ground next to a pole. I couldn't actually tell what the weird yellowish white thing was that the bee was pulling out when I took the pic, but when I got home I realized it was a larvae.

I think they are what are classified as Dolichovespula. Yellowjacket wasp. Superb capture however. I think a 10/10 here for crispness and quality of image. Well done.
