Good idea, but bad lighting. The flash light kills this photo. -stephan |

This is a fun shot, the title works well here. Excellent choice of greens (with purple highlights). The white balance is good but the flash is just a little harsh in spots. Nice composition and use of the rule of 3rds. Good Luck, Gotcha |

I like this shot. The tomato is a surprise through all that foliage, as if it was pleasantly discovered by the photographer, as well as the viewer. |

nice positioning of the tomatoe amongst the lettuce, good title, too. the only thing that i would consider trying to do differently (and it may improve or worsen the photo, i don't know), is no water to reduce the glare, and also cover whatever is peeking through at the bottom (corn?). overall good shot. -- gr8photos (6). |

You have effectively captured the challenge by photographing this tomato... In my opinion, the subject lacks punch or pizazz. When I look at this photo, I say to myself, "Yep... that's a tomato." I am looking for an eye-catching view... something that intrigues me... some part of the image that I can get lost in... When making photos for the challenges, keep in mind that visual impact plays an important role :) - jmsetzler |
