Some green onions or green/red peppers would have added some great colour - but may have wrecked your dinner!

yummy yummy, good thing i'm entering comments after having lunch, otherwise i'd be drooling now. i like the colors, maybe the reflection from the oil is a little much, but i'm not sure how easy/possible that would be to control. good DOF. -- gr8photos (6)

Nice idea with good colour. Your DOF is very tight - which is fine - but I think your focal point should have been nearer the front. 6 - floyd

Yummy...making me hungry! Depth of field needs improvement, but color is wonderful! Good luck in the challenge. Grayce aka Gracious

I'm trying to get past the fact that this is just sooo unappetizing to me - way too slimy. Technically you did capture the glossiness of the wet squash and without too much contrast...but at the same time, it is very dark. I aslo don't understand what is in the background - or what purpose does it have. Just my opinion - not to offend. 5

Either this is over-sharpened, or those are some slimely veggies! 'E' for effort on the part of the photographer though.

I enjoy looking at the smooth moistness of this image... and i imagine the taste of the onions. 6 sjgleah

While a good idea, the overly shiny veggies leave me with a very greasy impression. Perhaps photograph them in the very FIRST stages of Saute.

A tad dark (just a tiniest bit), glare off the rear sqash. 7 Swash

This makes me hungry :) I think this shot needs a little extra light from somewhere.. it just seems a little bland and under-lit on my calibrated monitor... - jmsetzler

Colors are too muted. Taking the picture prior to cooking may have yielded more vivid colors and contrast

out of focus

A little out of focus but looks delicious.
