 The dark red of the drops was achieved using food colouring. The liquid in the bowl was water coloured using black ink.

Love the side on angle of this one and the ripples in the film of liquid. This is something a gotta try.

I am new to this web site and the first photo that I am commenting is yours.

It's an impressive image with great details and saturated colours. The only thing that I found little disturbing in this nice image is the background colour that is some what merged with the liquid colour. I suggest you try photographing with some light and bright colour background

Totally cool. I wonder how much the colouring and the ink the water affects how the shape of the plume appears.
