| The yellow compliments the magenta and looks lovely. I wonder how a closer crop would work, getting rid of the darkness on the left and bottom. |

Oh no no no, I disagree I think the shadows really work well in this shot. I love Dahlias. Someday I will plant them in my garden and then photograph them to my heart's content.
This is such a lovely shot, you've captured the true beauty of the Dahlia AND the border is perfect with your shot. |
