I gotta wonder where you came up with a complete skeleton! Not only the backside, but the inside of the backside. I think maybe if you'd had him/her a bit further from the wall with a little less direct light and a much larger, more imposing shadow, you'd have created a imposing mood to add to your subject. |

Actually, I really like this, a very very creative take on the challenge subject and an interesting shot to boot. The shadows are a bit distracting but overall I would have gave this a high score just for creativity if nothing else!! Good shot!!!

I wonder where you took this. The lighting does not help to make this pop at all. If you had controll over the lighting, I would have tried to light more from the side. The harsh shadows do not really add to the shot at all.

Good idea, but I don't like the harsh lighting. |

this is certainly a good intepretation of the challenge; hardly ever have i seen the back of a skeleton used as a subject. the problem i personally find with it is that it feels a bit dead (not in the literal sense, obviously). it's stagnent, there's no setting, or depth to it, the grey background being very bland and erm, grey. the crop feels too close to the top too. i wish it was doing something (mug of tea of something). the shadow is a bit distracting too. some contrast boosting might have lifted it a bit?
My First Weighted Scoring System ΓΆ„ΒΆ; composition + technical 1/3, challenge 1/1, post processing results 0/2, ooooh factor 1/3, originality 1/1 = 4 |
