| magnificent lighting! been done before, classic maternity shot, but the direction the woman is looking...away from her child and into the air, very uplifting, its not as down and heavy as many maternity shots i have seen, the way she is holding the cloth on her chest seems a little stiff/forced, but the lighitng on her face and her expression are MAGICAL |

| What on earth, were you thinking using a pregnant woman for this particular challenge(a ribbon maybe), it's not fair to overshadow all the other entries with such beauty. You probably looked at this in black and white as well and I do think the color was the way to go. Great use of light, great depth of field and all-around wonderful portrait. (10) |

| Beautiful picture with excellent composition. My complements to you and the model. Three suggestions; the reflections are too harsh, causing the tummy, chest and forehead to blend into the white background; a little fill light on the side of the head and hair would help; and the expressions looks a little posed, like she's been holding that position for some time rather than a spontaneous glance up with more expression, though I suppose a prolonged look matches the title better. Still, I'll give it an 8. |
