 Sitting on a rock at the backside of a waterfall on the Bronx River.
Shot raw. In Aperture software: Adjusted exposure. Rotated image. Exported to PS2: Boosted brightness +2 and contrast +13. Patched trash in the water in two small locations. Converted to jpg. USM at 50%. Saved for web.

Interesting angle. It took me a while to get oriented that you're on top of the falls shooting down. I'm not sure about the horizontal 50% split of the frame, maybe an angle would work better, but other than that good shot.

Not sure that this crop works for this picture. I really like the splash though.

From the viewer's perspective it is difficult to tell that it is truly behind the falls. I think having it essentially cut the frame in half weakens the composition. Maybe if the horizontal was lower in the frame it would help a bit.
