| I don't think that shrooms are exactly a Fruit or Veggie. If my memory serves me right, I learned in my botany course that a shroom is an organism within itself. Other than that I like this shot. Nice macro, it has lots of texture. A different DOF might have worked better, to get the whole shroom in focus. |

| I think this shot is very nice. I think it would be dramatically better if the bottom of the stem were not visible. Still, quite well done. I like the DOF. 7-8, have to decide as the week passes, just-married |

| An interesting photo, I would have liked to have seen better focus on the center of the shot, and also a contrasting background so that the 'shroom would "pop" out. lhall-7 |

| I can stir-fry it, so it counts. Good detail on the focused section, and I like the decision to use a limited DOF. It gives depth. |

| I actually think this is a good shot of a mushroom. However, I have to agree with other members regarding mushrooms as a fungus. |

| Nice shot. Kind of creepy - makes me not want to eat mushrooms! I would have tried to find a mushroom with alonger stem or cropped out the bottom cut. And the edge of the table or whatever in the left corner detracts a little from the image. |
