 The original thought was positive energy/negative space. I like the duplicity of the image and it's pretty much exactly what I had pictured when I thought of the concept when the challenge was announced. Originally I was going to have my wife "paint" the "orb", but ultimately I decided to let ole Gary Fong do the work... that simplified the setup and gave me a nice round sphere. This is the smallest aperture I've ever used in a shot.
