it's a CHICKEN! Man how did you get this close without having your own eye poked out? When I was little we raised them and my sister would make my little brother and I kneel down and she would put food on our head so the chickens would peck it off lol, was fun for a little while, till they got aggressive. :) |

Top Out Of Focus really hurts this otherwise excellent shot. A little scary, but definitely meets the challenge. |

I am going to guess that this is the eye of a Muscovy Duck.....that's pretty specific but it's what I think it is.....ok, maybe a rooster! |

Indeed it is. That's one ugly bird from this point of view. This is good for a few reasons and bad for a few reasons. Good: nice focus and DOF, cool colors. Bad: small size, it's pretty dark, it's too recognizable for this challenge. |

Your title should NOT identify or even hint at what the object is |

Chicken's eye. Not really puzzling at all :)!
I feel like this could be slightly crisper - not a bad shot though. 6 |

Rooster eye? This is ugly, but a good picture. |

Looks like one of those red headed roosters that was in last week's challenge except for the yellow hairs. |
|
|
06/20/2007 06:26:05 PM |
Muscovy duck? Might have more impact with a tighter crop on the eyeball. |

A duck eye or maybe it is a chicken eye. Being a city gal I'm not sure. Interesting composition and framing. |

I'm guessing: Pet bird, or reptile. |
