 Went to a farm and saw a lot of rooster. I thought about using "Cockeyed" as the title... but that would be too much of a hint (even though it is obvious there is an eye in there). Didn't do too much editing in Photoshop... apart from rotating 90 deg CCW, resizing and converting to a sRGB jpg, I did some levels/curves adjustments and a tab of unsharpen mask. Taken at 300mm (macro) with my new Tamron lens.

it's a CHICKEN! Man how did you get this close without having your own eye poked out? When I was little we raised them and my sister would make my little brother and I kneel down and she would put food on our head so the chickens would peck it off lol, was fun for a little while, till they got aggressive. :)

Top Out Of Focus really hurts this otherwise excellent shot. A little scary, but definitely meets the challenge.

the eye of a turkey or something similar, although the tital is nothing to do with the item, but still think it is a very good simialarity or it is the eye of the turkey

Indeed it is. That's one ugly bird from this point of view. This is good for a few reasons and bad for a few reasons. Good: nice focus and DOF, cool colors. Bad: small size, it's pretty dark, it's too recognizable for this challenge.
