 7480 orig. Opened in capture, exported to CS2, levels, selective color adjustment layer, spot healed a few specks of dust on the fly, sized, smart sharpened, added frame and saved for web.

WOW!!! A Blue! Thanks to all the voters and esp. the people who took time to comment. I appreciate it.

Yes, the shot was in the wild, so to speak. On the leaves of a Hosta plant at the front entrance of my house. This location has great North light up until 11 AM.

Glad this was the Sigma and not the Canon. :) Don't want to have to share the top spot for that lens. Great macro. Spot on focus and awesome color pop.

This photo might prevent me from killing them now, and these are the only insects I ever had to eliminate. Either that or lose sleep. This photo is so fascinating.
