 It's a Halogen worklight. The lightbulb was probably obvious, but the BG is just the reflective metal surface on the inside of the worklight.

The subject of this photo is a bit unclear. It's not separated from the BG very well. I think a backlight on the light-bulb (my guess at the subject) would be good.

A spring inside a plastic or glass tube, but I still don't know what it is. I like the colour, the diagonal composition and the lighting.

Oh! I've seen these things before! Of course, I don't remember what it is or what it's for! I like the perfect diagonal. Light and color are kinda blah.
